Default question for guys with milano red cars.

hey, im want to get my car painted milano red, and need to know the paint code for it so i can buy that paint and give it to the shop to spray on my car.

For the other guy, FBP is : NH-592P

yah well the full body paint as the guy said will take 3 pints, and all togather thats gona cost me like 180 CAN money.

That sounds kinda low, I painted my civic milano red and it cost over $400 american just for the paint and clear. That's not including primer, etc.

i agree....i want to get a new paint job but the shops i found quoted me $1200 and up...

The milano red form the 5th gen EX is a tri-coat system. Which means there is a color base, a color clear, and then the clear. Thats why it is so expensive to do.

oh so u think its best to do tri coat? a base coat and then a mixture of color and clear, and than the clear?

would it really matter if i dont do tri coat, and just lay down the color and than the clear coat on top?

400? well the $180 i said is just for the milano red paint, the clear is seppret. so more money for that too, but im not buying the clear, the guy painting it has the clear him self which he will include to the cost of it.
