Default 97 teg won't go into ANY gears!!! HELP!!

None of my gears will engage if I have the car on while the clutch is pushed in. I turn off the car, put it in 1st gear, and start the car with the clutch in. th car starts doing, what i call the crazy dance, which is as if the car was stalling hard. So we figured it might be the slave cylinder. Replaced it, bled the clutch, and same thing. My buddy asked me if the "Master clutch Cylinder" was leaking, so I checked(BEHIND THE CLUTCH PEDAL, IF IM COREECT) and sure enough, it was leaking. The funny part, I really never noticed when I checked the clutch fluid resevoir. Could the Master Clutch Cylinder not let the car go into gear when the engine is running??? ANY HELP APPRECIATED!! THANKS!!

Well you pretty much answered you own question. Just replace your leaking Master Cylinder, and that should fix it.

...and the clutch disc.

sounds more logical how a spring can break and get stuck in between the plate and letting the clutch engage.....

Well I gave you my opinion....So, chill with the attitude!

Regardless the outcome. If you replace the Clutch Master Cylinder and it still doesnt solve the problem... At least you wont have the leaking CMC!

Chillax homie, no attitude here..... the extra "!!" was for the "thanks". Anywho.....

It was most def the spring on the clutch disc. Spring broke off and got stuck between the clutch disc and pressure plate (thank's Ziptie Guy). Soooooo, i got a new Stock Exedy Clutch Kit, and replace the slave cylinder, and the clutch master cylinder. Thanks for the help and advice guys, GREATLY APPRECIATED!!

HAVE A HAPPY DRUNKEN ST. PATTY'S DAY!! BE SAFE & WEAR A HAT DAMMIT!!
