Default eBay seats...

Has anyone bought a pair of the racing seats off of ebay? How is the quality? How is the fitment?

firstly, theyre ebay racing seats, the opinion anyone gay enough/stupid enough to buy them would not matter much to me

secondly, there are probably multiple kinds of "racing seats" on a site as huge as ebay, be more specific

For 285.99 they are shipped and everything...I really dont want to pay over a 1000 dollars for 2 front sparco/recaro/bride seats.

So, I guess since I considered ebay racing seats...that makes me stupid and gay?

The shipping is as much as the seat Not a good sign. Go ahead and get them if you want... but I wouldn't. That's just my opinion.

why don't you just swing by Vatozone and buy the APC seats they have there? Same thing, pretty much, and you'll look like a low-budget ricer either way.

I'm one of the two, and I'll laugh.

My pockets arent deep at all, I am a poor college kid. I would just rather have the stock seats rather than some fake-leather heavy-*** ebay seats. But rotas are nice. I have konig traffiks that i got for $80 each

comparing rota to cheap ebay seats is ridiculous

why buy cheap seats when they flex? and as far as putting a momo sticker/recaro etc

many will be able to tell. and for the ppl who actually track their car, ebay seats are not allowed onto the course if its not approved

I wasnt comparing Rota's to the ebay seats...I was trying to make a point.

I am not taking my car to the track and racing a course or anything like that.

What do you mean, Why buy cheap seats when they "flex"?

I really dont care what people think about the seats anymore...I mean, ****....I asked if anyone had bought them and if they KNEW how the quality was. I'm sorry the seats arent JDM or something like that. If I like them, then I will get them. If me putting different seats in my car OTHER THAN Recaros/Bride/Sparco/Momo...makes me a RICER then I guess I am. I mean, ****...Since I am a ricer now...I might as well get underglows, body kit, HUGE wing, vented hood, hell even some carbon fiber mirrors. Thanks for not answering my questions...

you need to calm the f down dude

what i meant by flexing is: when you sit in the seat, the will flex back or side to side

i've personally sat in one (of the co-workers had some really cheap ebay seats) if you like to sit in a seat isn't solid feeling, fine do it.

maybe you can save up just a little bit more money and get the real thing. . . .cheap stuff on ebay is usuallt that CHEAP. you get what you pay for so you gotta be careful. ask the people if you dont like them if you can send them back. . .

seriously, just look at how cheap the adjustment **** on those seats is. plus that material is far from "leather" as the seller describes it. i seriously would stay away from these seats.

i know rotas are relatively inexpensive wheels but they have a good track record, are lightweight and well designed, hardly an ebay special like this...

That is a good suggestion. Personally, if it looks good, and its somewhat durable, i'd go for it. We need an honest review. I've seen some cheap seats - and those don't look THAT bad. The leather will probably krinkle after a few long drives, but thats life. Let us know. Oh, suggestion: don't try to turn the **** while sitting in the seat. Might break something. Adjust it while you're standing up.
