d4 light is blinking

d4 light is blinking
can someone please tell me how to check to see y my d4 light is blinking all the time. i have a 95 accord coupe. all the gears change good but when it comes out of first the motor gets kind of quiet like and slows up but beside that it shift good. its no honda dealership here and these jack leg mechanic down here never seen nothing like it. so please help

Is the speedo working?
Get a paper clip and fish around under the right side of your glovebox until you find a two pin connector clipped into a holder. Unhook it, push the paperclip into the pins, turn the ignition on and watch the D4 light blink. Long blinks are the 10;s place and short blinks are the 1's place, so 4 long and 2 short would be code 42. Post the code here and we can help further.
