AEM V2 INTAKE?????
Has anyone put a AEM V2 intake on there integra cuz AEM claims that the V2 intake is one of the best ones out there and i'm not even sure if they offer it for integras but i think they do, and if anyone has used one on there car is it really worth the money cuz there like around 300 dollars. and how much hp can u get out of it. thanks
I got one, yea it was expensive, but its pretty nice sound and i wish i could say i noticed gains, but i did headers and exhaust at the same time so thats kinda cheating if i said "YEA MAJOR GAINS" or whatever...Heh, looking back, i had money, and i wasted alot of money, probably not worth the price...wanna buy it for cheap?

my friend tested both the V2 and V1 and both were the same to him but a difference in tone of sound.
v2 = garbage, just because the piping appears bigger, it still goes in through the same diamter throttle body as the v1. spend the difference in cost wisely, like towards a omni power test pipe or sumthin

there was this recent test on most popular intakes cold air and short ram (if i find the link, ill post it up) and the v1 actually performed better then the v2 and this was done on a teg. v2=sounds louder but not worth the $$ and no, intake is not just a pipe with a filter. well technically it is but there is a lot of research and engineering put into it, example pipping size, where to bend the pipe for most gains.....but that topic has been cover numerous times so im not going to get into it

DIY, ( I did this and covered the piping with a dryer exhaust heater foil to block out heat from the intake)

Search up the Mugen one if you want to spend money on an intake, or if throttle response is your thing, then look at the J's racing. I used to have the V2 on my 96 GS-R. Can't compare to any other ones but it did the trick for me.
