i had already found 2 articles about bleeding the clutch

the one i read from honda tech...says i need a tubing running for the bleeder to a cup of brake fluid. my question is that am i needing the tubing and the cup of brake fluid to look for air bubbles or is there some other reason for it being there? any info would be nice. thanks.

it keeps air from getting into the line, kinda like when you are bleeding your brakes and you need to submerge the line into a bottle of brake fluid as well.
^^^ agreed since the clutch pedal will stay on the firewall until you pull it up... so there really isn't any risk of getting air back into the system. You can skip the hose, just watch the stream of fluid. When you see a steady stream you're golden.
