Default Throttle body upgrades

Anyone have any suggestions as far as throttle body upgrades for a 94 LS? Any compatibilities with other makes? Just curious.

Just get it bored out like what I did by Maxbore.

Did a great job, and you don't have to worry about fitment issues since it's your stock TB.

No particular reason. I'm just doing little things to my vehicle. It's pretty bone stock, and a throttle body wouldn't be the next normal upgrade, but I guess you can say I'm odd? Really I just wanted the throttle body to match the CAI 2.5" (63.5mm) piping. All I have is a CAI at the moment. Been searching for a 4-2-1 header. Can't afford the DC, but don't want to put garbage on the car either.

check the classifieds...people are selling used DC headers or other type of header anywhere from $80-$200 on average...unless its the bling bling jdm dc stainless steel header w/ 2.5" collector, then people are usually asking more.

I say just save your money and start off with the basics. Intake, Header, Exhaust.....if you still want to mod your car, then look into cams, valvetrain, etc. Depends how deep your pockets are.

Yea, dont upgrade your TB, you'll lose power throughout the powerband.
