Default 200k+ miles doing a rebuilt..suggestions?

Hi,
I was trying to sell my 1996 Acura Integra GSR with 200k miles, but since no one could come up with $4000, I will plan to rebuild it with aftermarket parts.

I recently have many parts for this; sk2 camshafts, gears, valvesprings, arp headbolts, rod bolts, acl bearings, obd1 gsr ecu (will be chipped), New timing belt, water pump, tensioner..

I am in the process of buying OS ctr pistons with the full head gasket set (includes crankcase kit)

Also will be honing the block, due to the age. I think thats bout it... oh also i will be buying new oem valves.

Any suggestions on what else I should get b4 I start?

THanks

7Mile

get aftermarket valves, it will be worth it in the longer run, besides your already going to have the motor tore up, so mind as well. Are you doing this yourself?

all new seals, obviously, including valve stem seals.

I assume you're getting new rings with those pistons?

well hopefully you do everything you want, and dont skimp out on fiancial issues if you can. I regret rebuilding my motor to OEM specs, and now I'm going to take it apart again, and go all motor for track. What HP do you want to achieve?
