Are they adjustable (i.e., illuminas)? That doesn't sound that good for non-adjustables.

The Illuminas are great! I don't know about the non-adjustable ones though.

if their the Tokico Blues.. they blew out on my friend in about 2 yrs (approx 35K miles) on my friends hatch which had H&R sport springs and Tokico blues.. I'd get KYB AGX's, or Koni yellows (this is what I got) or if you really want Tokico.. get the Illuminas...

my set is on the way from cali. I heard they are pretty good. I bought the Tokico blue non adj. They have a lifetime warranty so if they blow out then you will get new ones.

NOT TRUE, the non-adjustable (blue ones) only have a one year warranty.

I just got the blues.....they're okay. I'll upgrage next year. I also heard you void the warranty if you lower your car more than 1.5".

yeah,
just read the warranty over again.
their warranty only guarantees them for 1 year.
that sucks.

The blues are awful. They are the absolute minimum to go with when you lower a car. They are the cheapest high-pressure gas shock on the market, and they feel like it. But..... they are better (performance-wise) than stock shocks (maybe not ITR) on lowering springs. But, maybe you should ride on your stockies until you can get 1.Koni 2.Bilstein 3.KYB AGX or 4.Tokico Illuminas. Or a complete Tein coil-over set (hee-hee )

Tokico blues suck.
i had them with groundcontrol....
they started licking and creating noise right away..
i mean right after i put them on...
i did it in a NYC mech shop, they start licking when i was
stilll on my way to Holland Tunn.
maybe i have my car too low...but my friends had the
bad experience with them too...
so stay away with them folks
