Is this a cam chain tensioner? Cause I think I need one...you should hear my bike on start up, yikes.
I'm very handy when it comes to cars....and I have a manual for my bike...do you think this is something I could install myself? If so, consider it sold.
Oh, and why are you selling them?

The APE CCT is very easy to install or very difficult. Some people will simply remove the old CCT and stick the new one in, and adjust the tension depending on the noise the bike makes. The more prudent method involves removing the gas tank and airbox and cylinder heads to access the cam timing chain.
Where is the CCT located? Easy to get to? For initial start up would you just tighten until theres not much slack...then fine tune as needed once its running and you can hear the chain?
yes this is the APE CCT.
you have to remove the right side fairing to see it. I belive it is about the clutch basket. 2 bolts hold it in. there is a cbr forum that has some good info on these.

here you can see the CCT is #5 the gasket #6, I wouldn't say its hard to to, but you need to pay attention while doing it.

well according to the APE site the HP900 is for the f3, so yeah. (I guess its for a f3 and not an f2, even it should work in the f2.

The CCT's between the F2 and F3 arent interchangeable - I bought one from a shop (they had ordred the F2 part instead of the F3), and neither the CCT or the Gasket (same as pictured) would fit on my F3 (its a '96).

according to the APE site. The HT900 is for F3 and later. HT600 is for F2.
So do you have a HT600 for an f2 or a HT900 for a F3 or later.
If you have the HT900. I'll take it.

sorry for the confusion guys, but as stated in the first post the part number (from the package) is HT900/HT100. This is not an F2 part I thought it was when I bought it and only now realized it was not.
