Default HELP-->92-95 Civic Si Sunroof plug<--Let me see yours?

I need some help guys, I want to permanately delete the HEAVY sunroof from my daily driven 92 SI hatch. I know alot of you race EG's, so I would like some suggestions and also see what some of you guys have done to plug up the hole that is left in the roof when the sunroof is removed. Pics of some clean fabbed panels or kits that you can buy would be very helpful. Permanant and leak free would be preffered because my car is a daily driven street class car. It will see the rain and also sees snow during the winter. Thanks in advance.

i've never done it but i think the easiest way would be get a roof cut from one at a junk yard that way you have the same countours and curve and just cut the section out to fit and tack weld it slowly into place grind bondo paint.

I belive that lighter faster offers a kit for the SI. You might want to check out their site at http://www.lighterfaster.com

Where did you get yours from. Do you have any pics of it installed? I'd like to see how beautiful it is.

Did you have to have yours custom made?

My DX civic had an aftermarket sunroof when i got it. I wanted to get rid of it because it was leaking water. I had to send Adam a custom template so he would cut me a perfect fit. I'm sure if you're taking out your stock sunroof he has ones that are pre-made. Just call him up!

No problem.
I'd like to see some more pictures of your car if that's ok with you (I'm debating on painting my coupe silver).

You can see some more pics of my car here: http://www.etdracing.com Just go to team ETD at the top of the page and click on Mike Hackett's 1992 Civic Si. These pics are 2 years old now and they show my old setup but, there are some good shots of the car at the track and how the paint job looks. The color is Dodge Viper silver code: VA9 if you're interested. Thanks guys, Mike.

Looks good to me from the pic. I am probably going to order one of these kits. I have a few Q's before I place my order though, I'll call them up soon.

Those are some pretty good looking sunroof plugs guys. How are those in wet weather (rain & snow)? Are they on your daily driven cars? I need 100% weatherproof setup, I don't want any water coming in on my head LOL. The price tag on the Lighter faster carbon kit is a little over $300 shipped. It does look like a really well thought out kit though and good quality. That would be opening my wallet pretty wide. Does anyone else have any alternatives? Are there any fiberglass kits that might be a little less expensive.

Good to hear. We get quite a bit of snow here as well and i don't want anything leaky. Those are some really well done sunroof plugs. Looks like alot of thought and time were put into them. Thanks for the interior shot as well, this is helping me get the idea of what these should look like. Let me see some more...
