Default My new ported/built LS head came in today! Few pics inside.

So this is a DFE Enterprises ported LS head. It made 250.3whp, 175ft/lbs all motor.

This is the head I decided I'd be using for my GT35/40R, 2.0L build.

So pretty.

Please, disregard the wife in the kitten pajamas in the background.

A pic of one of the ports.

Pic of the head and an obscenely large turbo (GT42R) in the back that happens to be for sale. Shameless plug, I know. PM me for more details.

Major specs of the head:

DFE Enterprises port & polished head
•Ferrea Lightweight Race valves (1mm oversize intake)
•Bronze custom valve guides (shortened & tapered)
•Crower Super Heavy Duty valvesprings
•Crower Retainers
•Crower Titanium Valves
•Adjustable Rocker Arms

With this head, I'm hoping to hit 600whp with a beefy powerband.

i would like to see that dyno sheet......i find it hard to believe as its already pretty hard to hit those numbers with a fully worked and built VTEC head.

nice turbo

Shoot me your fax number via PM, and I'll send the dyno sheets right over to you. This head outflowed Vteckidd's ported GSR head that made 240whp. He, too, can vouch for this head.

I'm sure there are others on the All-Motor forum that can vouch for the LS head(s) Don has ported. Ask hybrid-vtec.

Bottom end:

Golden Eagle - 2.0L
•Arias Pistons (9:1 comp)
•Eagle Rods
•Eagle Big Rod Bolts
•Step decked, O-ringed, line bored, bored and honed
•LS Crank
•ACL Bearings
•Blueprinted and balanced

I currently have Uberdata tuned by the folks at Main Stream Performance here in Atlanta. If I decide to go over 30psi, I'll go with CromePro or just upgrade to AEM EMS, but that won't be until later this year or unless I find a deal I can't refuse on the AEM.

Nice stuff!

Damn. Would you mind pm'ing me how much that head cost with the work, and parts?

That is sick power all motor for a Non-Vtec. LS power baby. Damn, I really haven't seen something like that for a Non-vtec all motor. Good stuff

That turbo is a monster. Looks like it would break the motor

Now, i dont mean to burst your bubble, im not saying that HP isnt acheivable but i dont think that head will make that power all motor unless your running a freakin 14:1 comp ratio some c16 and way to much timing for that motor with a wild *** cam. ive got the same head work done and over sized valves THE WORKS on my LS head and it made 268whp on 7 psi of boost

so what your trying to say is your head flows 50% more air then mine???? I DOUBT IT i dont care how good of a head poorter it is your not going to flow 50% more power, mabye 10-20% TOPPPSSSSSSS and damn that would be an amazing porter if his work is that much better then mine. that means that head flows roughly 350cfm????? YEAH OK a worked H22 head flows around that much cfm and we all know a b series certainly wont outflow a h22 head. good luck with the build though i still give you mad props for the nonvtec build.

With the perfect combination, in awesome conditions on a high-reading dyno.. I could see it. 13-14:1 CR + badass tuning and a badass parts selection.

id love to slap this head on my motor. im sure it would work wonders.

im still debating whether to go w/ a built LS head, or just get a B16/GSR head.

for you and keep us posted.

The head flowed at ~295-300cfm.

Stock GSR heads can make 600whp. My head outflows a stock GSR head by far, so I see no reason why I won't be able to hit 600+whp.

Edit: Also, thanks for all the positive compliments guys.

well anyone can make a flow bench read more then it should. a worked vtec head flows like 290-325, believe me you didnt make a nonvtec head outflow a worked vtec head. im not trying to burst your bubble just letting you know dont be dissapointed if you dont make these huge numbers your being told thats all man.

Good luck with the build, im going to be the first B18A LS in the 600+whp range, think you can beat me to it?
