Honda Bond and More Valve Cover Question
I am getting ready to install the valve cover soon, yeah I've made lots of threads on them...
Ok, so hondabond, i've heard it works wonders but which do i buy. there is two types
Hondabond 4

Hondabond HT

The hondabond HT is the one that is priced more towards what everyone else said I would be looking to pay for [ $13-$15 ] but I just wanted to make sure I was going to order the right one.
And the last question is on the installation process itself. I have the helms manual, I've read it and I am still unsure of where to apply the hodnabond. It says to apply it to the "chain case and the no. 5 rocker shaft holder mating areas", is that on the VC itself or on the head of the car. Do I apply the hondabond on the gasket and stick it to the VC then apply a little more on the head and place the VC on top? or is the hondabond just going to go on the VC and gaskest. I feel that 4 dabs of the hondabond would not 'seal' the head too tightly to the VC.

There is a generic Honda Bond HT, I believe its called Permatex Gray. It can be found at autozone. The back of the package will have interchange numbers on it. It about $5.00.. cheaper than the dealership.
