Default Slight clunking sound from front of car...

Well I am getting a slight clunking noise from the front of my car. WHenever I am going from a stop I get an intial clunk and then that's it. Also it only does it whenever there is a sudden change in momentum. For example, when I am at say 4-5k and just let off the gas or when shifting from 1st to 2nd at like 4k. In higher gears it doesn't seem to do it. I read up that it might be a couple things. But I am thinking its a mount or something becuase when I am in second gear and making a left turn at around 20-25 mph, it does it, but doing the same thing and taking a right turn it doesn't do it. Any ideas? I searched and it seemed to be that most people said it was a tranny problem, but I don't think it would be since it only does it turning certain directions and such.

What about shocks. I was having a issue with clunking when I brake. It ends up my shocks are bad. Try reading around in the suspension forum. There should be some articles about clunking

it doesn't do it with hard braking. Just when the motor seems to move around is what it seems.

It's gotten a litter louder now, but also downhill it kind of rattles when cruising in gear down a hill... I think its on the drivers side. any ideas?
