Default Insurance on a '01 Prelude SH?

Hi, I'm new to this forum. Ok, I'm thinking of getting a '01 prelude SH and I want to know how is the Insurance premium. I owned a '93 Lexus ES300 and the insurance was sky rocket ($800/6 months for Liability only @ Geico) I want to know how is other people's insurance rate on the Prelude so that I will know if I can/cannot handle the insurance rate. Thanks.

They're charging me $350 a month for my prelude. You're lucky as ****.

By the way - high today for Sacramento is 55 degrees mostly cloudy. Low wind speeds; however, tonight it'll get down to 42 degrees with a 100% chance of rain. You're supposed to get .5 " of rain.

How can they say 100% chance of rain - if it hasn't rained yet?......I would say something close to 99% chance to leave room for error. But whatever. Have a great day.

for that. Hell, when i was real young, i got into many accidents, had tickets(only one speeding - everything else was BS tickets). I definately regret it now. I'm just going to insure my 95 cutlass. Hopefully it won't be that much.

I took the online driving course - it took away 3 points i believe, now i only have 8pts.

And I thought I was getting ripped a new one.

When does insurance drop? I know after you've had your license 3 years it drops. When does it drop again?

I think after the age 22/23.

It drops after 3 years supposedly but thats like 19 for most. And it drops again after 22 or so. Can't wait - but i have some years left. Oh, by the way - 350/month is just for liability.

I have like 5 accidents on my record, along with points. They kicked me off my parents insurance back in the day. So - state farm

NationWide here. I've thought about taking collision off my car but I dunno. I've had my new 'Lude since late October and have only put about 2,700-3k miles on it

Don't do it! Murphys Law will hit you on the head really hard on this one.

My 2001 is 1383 for 6 mnths Full Cov. Progressive. 25 yrs old somewhat of a clean record except for one time caught for speeding real bad.

My lude is under my dad's name and I think it's like 128 bucks every 6 months for full coverage or something.. he works up in Detroit so technically he's under that vechicle and I'm just a secondary driver.

My insurance company told me that 92-01 'Ludes are in the same class at S2K's. That's when I asked them how did they sleep at night.
