98 accord lx sedan automatic. In the instrument cluster in the dash, when you have it in gear, there is a lighted box around which gear you are in. For mine the D4 light is out. Its a green box by the way.

I know its a petty thing, but I still want to fix it. On some clusters, on the back there are 7 bulbs that line up and you can switch out the bulbs. But mine looks like the cluster below and I dont know if i can access those lights on the back. any ideas? Thanks.

The same D4 light is out on a 94 accord I recently bought.
I havent taken the cluster out yet but I wonder if i'll have the same problem.

Disassembly is required, but you can get to them.

 

i always thought there wasnt a light around the D4.. only the lower 3 gears and the N and R.. i always thought b.c your car is suppose to be in D4 that they dont light it up , but light the lower three ones to show u that u arent in D4..

lol however if this isnt true then my d4 light is out to!
