Default short / slim hub for EF?

Does anyone make a slim hub for EF's?

I'm a tall lanky goof and don't need the wheel up to my chest after I add a quick release.

OR

Can anyone suggest or recommend a setup for me?

I'm 6'3" // 6'4" and my knees hit the stock steering wheel in my EF hatch in normal driving position (like 1 or 2 clicks on the seat before its all the way back)

I'm looking to get a little more knee movement. Is this accomplished by a smaller steering wheel or an aftermarket setup that pushes it closer to me? I wouldn't mind having the steering wheel a bit closer but I also don't want it right up against my chest

I've also read that a 320 steering wheel isn't suggested for cars without P/S due to steering effort so.....

does a slim hub, NRG QR, and Momo 350 monte carlo sound like it would suit my needs?

if not PLEASE help a lanky brotha out

I have a quick release that is similar to the NRG and I was not to happy with it. I did not like the fact that it stuck out another 2-3 inches but I figured I would rather deal with it than have my car stolen. I have heard that indeed there is a company that makes a hub and QR that does not stick out so far. I am not sure what its called but I will do my best and try to gind out in the next few days.

try the momo hub, with the nar-spec NS-QRx1 quick release, and that 350 momo montecarlo. thats my set-up.

Well actually im getting the nar-spec release tommorow but it only adds about 1" compared to the nrg's 3". its about the same price and i have heard nothing but good things about the nar-spec.

All in all its a bit pricey but well worth it!
