Default swapping a b16a2 for a b18c6 in my eg6...ive got the engine but now search wont work

i have everything that i could get from the wrecked itr (engine, box, ecu, wiring, starter, alternator, axles etc) which parts from the itr can i use as they are all '98 parts as opposed to my '92 b16a2 parts

i know this has all been covered x amount of times before, but whatever i search for i always get 'no results found'

i have all the parts, now all i need is the info.

also, when we took the suspension off we took the whole thing with the engine bed, steering rack, tiebars etc all still attatched....can i use all of these parts from the itr or will i have to mix and match (my civic has 120k miles and the integra had only 50k miles)

please help me, u guys are the only people that can, then next time someone wants to know, i can tell them instead of the same people writing out the same info over and over again

i did try searching....honest

thanx in advance, Ben

if there are any sites covering this swap (or to help me fit the dash or back seats) links or web addresses would be much apreciated

everything will work from an ITR, just use it as is....you can even use a complete harness then you won't have to replug to OBDII style plugs....

front/back suspension works without any problems, including the front sway bar...
steering rack/crossmember also works
radiator will work only if you modify the bottom mounts
wiring harness can be used and pluged to your eg6 harness
ecu as explained above (if you choose to use your ecu, then use b16a vtec solenoid housing (oil pressure sensor is there), which the ITR doesn't have or look for...
all the rest should work, seats, steering wheel and more (dashboard will not just bolt on)

Euro-Spec Type R motor, right? B18C6?

Anyways, yes just use the ITR harness and plug it all in. Then add a re-chipped P28 ECU from a 1992-1995 SOHC VTEC Civic/Del Sol and you're DONE!

I've got a B18C5 swap in a hatch and it ******* rocks.

You will love it!

yes your P30 or Pr3 ecu will work and can be reprogrammed the same way if you ever need to
