alright here the deal..my car got stolen and i found it before they could strip it..they took my vafc which i was using to tune my motor...now im using a greddy emanage untune..but a friend of mine did some adjustment so it would run a little rich till i can tune it..but at the moment when im driving after 2k my rpm needles jumps everywere..today i was driving it and it jumped all crazy and it shutted off on me so i had to pull over.so any idea what would be wrong with it?my set up is a stock b20 turbo with 440cc injectors need more info on the car just ask

 

i have the same thing happening to me...but it jumps when v-tec kicks in...im gonna run some test on it...ill let you know when i find out...also my icm signal seems to be fine because on my v-afc the rpm doesn't jump around like on the gauge...so im assuming its the gauge cluster...will keep you updated...its probably gonna be this weekend though...

 

check the ignitor chip in your dizzy

 

could be wiring... this happened to me... check the ecu plugs... mine was doing that.. notice a wire was loose... ..

also can be the vafc

i just changed my ignitor not to long ago but the spring thats goes into the ignitor was kinda bent so u think that might be it?and oh yea when the rpm needle jumps my mtoor jumps also
