Default Fuel pressure regulator

I installed a fuel pressure regulator on my gsr today, nothing done right now just i/e. The gauge is reading 52 psi, is that good enough for a stock gsr? However, this next two weeks I will be adding ctr cams, skunk2 intake manifold, and a jdm itr header and tune it on my vafc. So thats my other question, after it is tuned what is a safe psi to run on the regulator?

45-48 sounds good for mild mods

You measure base fuel pressure with the vacuum hose disconnected and pinched at idle.

I know when mine was checked at Honda it was set back to 38PSI and my GS-R isnt stock. I would suggest 38 it is the best IMO. My car runs so much better at 38

with the basic mods you have i would keep it around stock, no higher than 42 i say this because i once thought the higher the fuel pressure the faster it is... but in reality your injectors can only handle so much and if you turn it up too high its just going to flood keep it stock unless your throw on a turbo or go built internaly n/a
