Default BYPASSING your SRS airbag light chip

Hey guys i was cleaning out my garage and found a bag of srs bypass chips.

Okay, this is how it works. Say you have your steering replaced with an aftermarket one and your SRS light comes on. most people just pull the bulbs off the cluster but the passenger airbag is still disabled.

So just you just plug this chip into your steering wheel srs plug and the car reads that the driver airbag is still on. So it enables the passenger airbag and turns off the srs light.

safety for your passenger is important!

$20 shipped

or 2 for $35 shipped.

you will need 2 for the rsx

with the chip

i currently have no side airbags but i added that chip under the chair.

i forgot to take a pic with no chip. so i just unplug the plugs

If I find some proof that these work I will buy one for my passenger side airbag that I removed.. But so far it looks like you took an upclose pic without the chip, then got far away with the same pic, the angle woudln't show the light you are saying is on anyways would it?

Hate to sound like a *****, but the post just seems shady in so many ways.

Why would you drive an RSX with no aftermarket steering wheel, but you decided to remove the side and front airbags? Also, why would you purposely get so far from the object that is supposed to be the center of the pic..... Not to mention, you keep this miracle chip just stored away in your garage and have multiple copies of it? Come on now man, clear this stuff up....

Its all good, I just wanted some clarification. Do you have any better pics of this thing?

I really would buy one if I had some proof, so I guess this guy will have to post up when he gets his...

alright fellas, i took the dive and bought a couple chips from mr boomboom. installed them yesterday and yup, sure enough, THEY WORK! NO SRS LIGHT AND AFTERMARKET STEERING INSTALLED.

so all doubters out there, no need to worry. the resistor worked for me the first time, and i have to say, i went thru many resistors and BS from other chips that i got from radio shack before getting these, and needles to say, i should have saved my cash and got it from this seller the first time.

thanks again bro-you got my VOUCH
