Front Windshield Wiper Motor Issue
This has to due with my mom's car which is a 95 Pontiac Grand Am SE. I can't find any information about this from any where else and there is no decent message board for a Grand AM, so was wondering if anyone has experienced this before on thier car.
When you go to turn the wipers on, the low setting seems to work fine as it should. However, when you switch them to the high speed, they seem to just rock back and forth. It looks like they want to lift and swing but the moment it does it returns back to the home position. This only seems to be affected in the high setting. I replaced the motor today figuring it was that, but another motor does the exact same thing. This is a wrecking yard motor which seems strange even for that to do the exact same thing so I am starting to rule the motor out. Since I would think that all wiper systems for all make and models of cars are probably the same, has anyone else seen or heard of something like this? Anything else I might try? This is kind of throwing me for a loop.
Thanks!

It's either the delay wiper module or the colume mounted wiper switch.
You're correct to eliminate the Motor (and subsiquent park switch) (it's almost statistically impossible that two would be doing the same thing).
Why the Delay Wiper Module? It's responcible for now only the delay, but also the park function as well.

Thanks P_Adams. I forgot to mention, this car does not have a delay function. Hi/Low/Momentary are the only funtions. Sorry for not stating this earlier...
