Default please help. main relay,runing rich,and which distributer...

i have a 88 crx si,i brought it home because some guy counldnt get it runing,so i found out its the main realy but the spark and fuel only turns on when i jump the realy harness,but when i put the relay back in without jumping it it doesnt work,drove the car and it threw a rod threw the block.....so i got a d16 from a 93 si put it in the distributer doesnt line up,i heard to use washers to set it in.but should i put it straight up like it should....and it runs with the jumped wires but smells like its runing way to rich also i dont think its safe to have those wires jump,any help would be great thanks

if you wanting to use your obd0 distributor you have to cut a notch or cut one of the legs to get it to work...

i have to do the same thing right now so i dont have pics but if your put the dizzy in the right way and i just used some vise grips plyers to hold it on you can look to see where to notch it at in what not.....most ppl would prefer just to buy the obd0 to obd1 wiring kit so you use the dizzy that came w/ the head so you dont to notch or hack up the obd0 dizzy...but then again it cost more to buy the wiring conversion kit.....but like i said just put it on and line it up and go from there shouldn't be to hard for u to see where to notch it at....
