Default intake question

i just bought a 92 da9 and it came with an aftermarket intake, the car runs strong and all but i wanna know if it'll have problems due to the fact that the silicone hose from the intake that connects with the valve cover is not connected because it has a breather filter there, if so is there anything that i can plug the hole in the intake wit, dont have pics right now, car locked up in friends garage!

Just plug the hole in the intake with a bolt or something similar.

Or get a hose to connect them. I just use fuel hose. I forget how long. I have a breather filter like that on my B16 civic and I hate it. That is just me though.
