TRANSMISSION PROBLEMS!..NEED HELP PLEASE!!!
I have a 96' Acura Integra GSR with some tranny problems. My tranny first started to act weird a few days after I installed my cat and my 4-1 headers on. At first I sometimes couldnt get my car into any gear, especially my first gear. Then one day my car couldnt get into any gear at all. I found out the problem, my master clutch cylinder was leaking. I bought a new one and replaced it. My tranny was working for like a week after I got my new master clutch cylinder in, and then it was acting up again. I inspected my master clutch cylinder again, but it wasn't leaking, so I inspected my slave cylinder, but there was no leaks either. I thought that maybe I must of bleeded my clutch fluid wrong. I tried several different methods of bleeding it and did them about 5 times each, but still I couldnt get my car into any gear. I thought of other reasons why I couldnt get into gear. I figured maybe it was because I may be low on transmission fluid, or maybe there is something wrong with my throttle/pilot bearing, or that my tranny is just f*cked up. I thought about my clutch, and wonder if it might be the problem, but my clutch was working fine about a week before all this started to happened. I don't think I could of have burn it out that quick because I don't smell it burning, and I don't feel it slipping either. Has this ever happened to anyone before. Can anyone help me find out what is wrong with my tranny/clutch before I am forced to take it to the shop and have to pay a lot of $$$ to get it repaired. Any insight would be helpful. Thank you.

have a buddy push your clutch pedal down while u whatch the salve cylinder to see if its actually working. mine went out as well but didnt leak at all untill i went to pull it off the rubber boot was full of fluid changed it and it works awsome now. wish i had some more info but thats my only guess.
Yeah I had my brother pushed my clutch and I have inspected my slave, i didnt see any leaks, and it was still working, but I haven't tried taking off the rubber part like you did. So I will try it ASAP, but I still doubt that it could be because of my slave, I may be wrong. But thank you for the insight, I appreciate it.
u dont even need to take it off just pull that cover back like the forskin on an uncircumsized ***** it will leak fluid out of it if its fucked up
Try rowing through the gears with the engine off, as well as moving through the gears by hand from underneath the car. That will help to isolate the issue to either inside or outside of the transmission
def got my money on the slave cylinder. when u take off ur stock headers u either have to take out ur radiator, ps or ur slave cylinder to jiggle it out......slave cylinder is the easiest to take out so it probably wasnt properly installed back on
If you shift it into first then start it with the clutch fully disengaged (pedal depressed) does the car creep forward?
If so the clutch is not disengaging fully. Keep checking the clutch release system. If everything checks out and is okay then possibly one of the springs in the clutch disc may be jammed in between the disc and pressure plate not allowing the clutch to fully disengage. This is known to happen from time to time.

YEAH!!!! my car does do that..so what your saying is that I probably might need to replace my clutch?. I checked my slave and no, it doesnt leak. So I think what you are saying is correct. When my car is turned off, I can get my car into gear and when I turn it on, it stays in neutral and i can't get into any of my gears. But if I turn on the car while its in first gear, the car will move foward and then I can drive it and I can get into any gear, but if I come to a complete stop or if I turn off my car then I can't get into gear anymore. So yeah I think what you're saying is correct. Thanks for the help, I appreciate it.
Yeah I thought it was the slave too, but when I replaced my headers I didnt have to take off my radiator or my slave. I just had to remove my heat shield off the stock headers, and unbolt my stock headers off and put in my new 4-1 headers.
Check the external stuff first before replacing your clutch, master replaced, slave checked and it's not leaking.
How's the fluid... fresh with not bubbles?
How's the clutch travel, do you have too much freeplay?
If everything checks out I'd guess at the spring in the clutch disc is jammed and not allowing the clutch to disengage.
