hey i was just wondering whats all the things i would need to put the f20b in the 96 hatchback i dont know much bout cars. but i was wondering would it even fit? i was thinking it would becasue its only a 2.0 litre and if u dont know what the f20b is its the 97+ accord type r.. so what new mounts would fit for that motor cause i cant find any? or would i just use the same mounts that a h22 uses ? get me back if u know about this swap

 

f20b is identical to an h22 as far as swapping, mounts, linkage/shifter, axles etc...

but you are misinformed about the f20b, it came in 97+accord sir's with the manual model rated at 200ps w/factory lsd and the auto versions rated at 180ps

accord type r did not debut untill the 1999 year

so basicly the swap is the same as a h22 and it would be just as easy?

 

i wouldnt say a h22 swap is easy into a 96 civic.....

 

yeah, as for being easy, that depends on how experienced you are i guess...
but the block casting is identical to h22, so yes, everything just like an h-series swap...
