well im having problems with my car throwing a code 16, it does it on my uberdata-chipped ecu, does it with a stock p28, and does it with a stock p06. motor is a stock internal d16y8. i was using dsm blue top 450s, but it does it with stock 240cc's wired up saturated and also with the new black top dsm 440's i got. replaced fuel rail, fuel filter, fuel pressure regulator, but still does it.

i'm running on 3 cylinders right now. first the #2 injector was not firing. then all of a sudden the #2 injector started pouring gas (was pouring out of the flange between the turbo and the exhaust manifold. then all of a sudden #2 start working perfect, and now #3 injector will not fire. i'm 100% positive it is not spark, and tested it by pulling the injector clip as well as the spark plug wire. wtf is causing it to do this??? i'm stumped

 

btw wire connections to the resistor box are soldered and used heat shrink, great connections and gets continuity between the clip on the harness to the clip on the injector, and also on the clip on the harness to the ecu.

 

did a compression test also and numbers were 180-180-180-180 brand new motor has perfect compression within 1psi of each other.

 

maybe sparks arcing in res. box. or short

hmm noticed the dizzy is firing this cylinder 3x in the same amt of time it fires 1x for other cylinders... do the injector pulsing and dizzy have any common connection?

 

solved the problem, turns out all the ecu's i was using were bad. using a new p28 solved my problem
