fast idle problems help

Today I dicided to change the thermastat plug everthing tried to start the car wont start. Main relay is clicking like crazy, change the distributor still wont start. need help.

I guarantee it's the thermostat ground if you were messing with it

I put it back tighten it up.

Take a wire brush to it, make sure it's nice and tight.

Your symptoms happen when the t-stat ground is bad.

Fixed the problem, the ground wasnt good. Still getting the problem when the cars cold I have to hold the gas till it warms up. Then it idles fine by itself.
