Default How to drive with LSD?

Got a 92 civic dx hatch with a gs-r motor and a brand new type-r transmission. I live in the dallas texas area and thursday theres some pretty cool street races that i go to. So the deal is i had stock 13" rims crappy tires so when i lanch i hardly feel the lsd working, also i lanch it now beacuse i got 800 miles on it. Last thursday i put 15" si wheels with the azenis 615's (i work at discount tire). I get to the street races and lanch at 3-4000.. NOTHING BUT WHEEL HOPE so i hear wheel hope is bad because you can break your axles so i stop. try 2500rpm lanch and boooog. SO MY QUESTION IS HOW DO PEOPLE WITH ITR'S LANCH OR ANYONE WITH LSD??

ps: i got a act heavy duty clutch with a stock ls flywheel , i know i know.. im trying to get a type-r flywheel from someone.

its not the lsd causing you the wheel hop, actualli my wheel hop from my jdm D15B tranny helped my wheel hop over my DX tranny.

first if i were you i would only change my rpm's a few hundreds at a time. you jumped from 4000 to 2800. there has to be a happy medium in there somewhere

i got a quiafe and i still get wheel hop. i stiffened the front struts and that helped.. traction bars and drag springs also help.. better motor mounts.. but youll sacrifice comfort for launching.. perhaps if you just get some traction bars youll be good.. the stiff motor mounts or motor mount inserts can cause extreme vibrations

wheel hop is caused by the lower control arm flexing then springing back, the only realy way to get rid of it is to get traction bars. New motor mounts and springs will only have a slight affect on wheel hop so its not even worth it.

concentrate more on clutch release than what rpm youre launching at, to get rid of wheelhop. smoother clutch release will result in less wheelhop, where as popping the clutch at 4000rpm will cause wheel hop due to possibly worn bushings(motor mount, lca, etc). i had this problem, then got es poly mount inserts and i have zero hop, even with my beastly 111hp

Lol dont street race it's bad for your health. There is really no need to "launch"
With the low gear ratio of that tranny you should just hammer on the gas not
dump the clutch. You are doing more harm to your engine than you think.

i dont race unless i drive around the area and notice its safe, also as much as it sounds like i street race for the hell it i dont if you were here you would see its a safe place. Where and what kind of traction bars are good out there.. sometimes when i lanch at 3 my tach and dashboard shake violently.

Ps: anyone selling a 92-95 civic ex gauge cluster?

Also, on a totally separate note, what's with the gramatical skills of the people posting from Texas lately?!??!??!??! This is the 4th or 5th thread that I have read lately that I could barely understand.
