Default Master Cylinder?....

Hi, I've searched already so please don't hate on me for making this topic. I had some creaking from my clutch pedal (93 Del Sol SI). I finally got down there with some WD40 and sprayed some of the springs/hinges/doodads that make the pedal move. This fixed the creaking almost entirely. However when I was down there I noticed that the piston that goes into the rubberboot near the firewall was oozing a little bit of black grease. My old 85 corolla did this on a much larger scale (filling up the floor with little puddles of oil) and I had to have the master cylinder changed. This isn't even dripping just kinda making the rubber boot slimy. Is this prolly the master cylinder going out? If so how long do I probably have on it before its making nasty puddles like my Corolla? And finally, if thats what it is, could someone give a THOUROUGH explanation on changing it(including bleeding)? I'm an idiot mechanic but I can follow good instructions. I don't really have money to spend on someone else doing it, so PLEASE help a fellow Honda owner out. Thanks in advance.

I should also note that the greasy bulidup wasn't yellow like the clutch fluid. It was black. Could it be that this is just grease for that piston?

I had a problem with mine to, my slave clutch cylinder went the boot broke and let the fluid past where it shouldnt be. I also need a clutch master cylinder mine has a slow leak. As for changing it It should be that hard. The hardest part will be bleeding the clutch.

Yeah someone on my other thread said it was time for a new one. I wish I could find a write up on how to change it. I really dont' wanna pay for someone else to do it.
