Default 92 prelude idle problem

I got a f22a motor in my prelude and it keeps surging from 1.4k-2.5k and when I put my finger over the top hole in the throttle body it stops doing and and was wondering what this hole goes too?

Cover it up drive with it like that for a while to see if you have any adverse side effects. If not, you're good to go. I can't really picture which hole you're talking about -i'm at work.

High today in Horn Lake, MS is 71 degrees with 40% chance of rain. Tonight you have a high of 40 degrees with 10% chance of rain. TOday you'll have scattered thunderstorms and it'll be partly cloudy in the afternoon.

I covered it up and it runs ok I guess it kind of misses at below 1.7k rpms and it runs really rich but it is drivable.Still would rather actually fix the problem but this will work for a temporary fix.

that top hole goes to your eacv, it is trying to compensate for a vacuum leak elsewhere. Have you tried cleaning out the eacv screen? or doing the fast idle thermo valve fix yet? its pretty common. it is right underneath the throttle body, just take it apart and screw the white disc all the way in. If that doesnt fix it start looking for vacuum leaks elsewhere
