Default Power steering ...

The other night i took my power steering belt off just to see how it felt without power steering. And damm...at a stop its a bitch but once u get moving it isnt bad. Anyway i was researching this and a few ppl were saying that it can damage the rack. But yesterday i talked to a mechanic over at honda and he said that it wont affect anything it will just take some muscle. Anyone know for sure if this will have any negative affects ?

You should drill out the high pressure fitting and loop the ps line. Some people on here took out everything. Just do a search...

If you don't want your PS back, remove the entire system. Right now you're trying to move the wheels and the PS fluid with your arms. It'll get a lot easier if you remove your now useless PS parts

you can search my name if you want a writeup on how to convert your rack to full manual....makes it 10x easier than just taking the belt off or looping lines....

ill summarize it....i skeet in my pants every time i turn the wheel...haha....it feels very nice w/o ps...very precise
