Default megan parts...are they good???

i'm thinking about getting some megan lower control arms, anodized red, clean, and n1 exhaust...my question is the also sell a d16 header, will it fit a d15 or does it really matter???

Yeah they make good stuff..The D15 header will fit the D16..Also d-series exhuast flanges are the same..Well the Dohc zc is a little different but it will still bolt up..

And those lower control arms are more bling then anything..Stock ones are fine unless they're messed up and you dont want to pay the money for new stock ones..

That N1 catback exhaust they make sounds decent but it sits funny on our cars..Maybe its just me though.

have no problems selling their products out of our shop. we've sold over 100+ of the b series type r style headers and have had no complaints. even from those who run them are using them on 12 sec eg hatches.

i agree on the lca's.

The other good thing about the arms is you won't have to mess around with buying new bushings and installing them on your old arms, instead you can just bolt them in since they've already got bushings installed.

Mostly just bling though.

i agree with speaker and jamar, go for the headers but not with the lca's or exhaust. If you want the bling then go for it. As for the exhaust, it will look out of place on our cars but i do have to admit it sounds great, i had the biggest version of that on my wrx and it sounded mean. see if they make a muffler that is suited for the ef.

I'm glad that someone posted about Megan stuff, I saw on ebay that they are selling a kit of 4 bars and they are claiming it is made by Megain racing, pretty cheap under 100 dollars shipped. Just wanted to know if anyone had any experience with their strut bars and tie bars.

I have their front and rear tie bars, I still need to install them though. I have no idea where the front tie bar bolts on to. Does anyone know?

I bought a CF duckbill from them before. Fitment was just as perfect as Spoon, but only cost me $130.

**NOTE**

The MEGAN N1 catback for EFs is actually a header-back exhaust! I picked one up, seeing it advertised as a catback, when in fact it's not that at all - far from it.

False advertising

I thought Megan Racing made a ZC header... I can't find my link or find it on their site. Anyone have a link to it?

No sarcasm intended!

I understand how you might think a header back is a better deal, but I was looking for a replacement that I wouldn't have to unbolt so I can pass smog. Plus I get mega tickets for not having a cat where I live

Megan products are just fine. I'm just a little miffed that they sold me a header back when I WANTED a cat back. All in all, I like their products.

I put the blue control arms on mine. I thought about staying stock but broke bolts off, and the megan arms where cheaper then oem. I also didn't care much for silver ones, and they where out of the red. Ok though the blue looks good w/ the gunmetal colcr of my car.

Well, I'm not quite understanding your question in this context, but my beef is that the exhaust is advertised (and even LABELLED BY MEGAN on their own box!) as a catback. I wanted to spend money on a catback and I got a header back. And based on what I've seen so far, they have advertised ALL their catbacks as header backs.

I understand what your saying ..You wanted a catback and bolt it up to the stock cat,,but the exhaust they gave you has a pipe that connects directly to the header..Is that what you're saying..?

I was also kind of curious on their quality. Happy to know they're reliable!
