**whats the collector size on a JDM B16 from the Sir II?

2.25 or 2.5?

 

Its 2" measured mine a couple of days ago. I thought it would be 2.50" but its the same as my dc header.

 

are u sure? i could have sworn they were at least 2.25...

 

and ur talking where it bolts to the Cat right?

the reason im asking is cause im looking to get a high flow cat, but i need to know the size i need for the collector.

i have an Apexi WS2 catback that is 2.36 (60mm) and was wondering what size i need for a cat...

 

Yea. I took the doughnut gasket off and put it on my dc header to see if it would fit. Its the same size. I have the normal dc header not the jdm. I also measured it with a ruler.

 

I bought the skunk2 test pipe.

ya i was thinking of that, but i dont want to louden my exhaust up too much. maybe an OBX high flow cat from Ebay or something like that. i was thinking of ordering a magneflow high flow cat tho.... keep the noise down for my new exhaust

 

I heard that the magnaflow ones are pretty good. I was going to get one but didnt know what size to get so i got the test pipe since it was vehical specific lol

hahaah thats what im going through right now, gotta try to figure out WTF i need... its gonna be a PITA i think. i might just get an OBX 1 and say expletive it. how does the test pipe sound? loud?

what u got for exhaust set up?

 

Havent put it on yet. I have heard they arent too bad lol
