It is getting pretty hot Looks like everyother day a new record is broken

 

unfortuantely we could not continue due to a broken oil pump gear...this run was right off the trailer so we have alot more to come.

Congratulations Arnold on the record setting run. I am sad i coludn't be there with you guy's but happy about the run. A lot of time,effort,frustration and don't forget money went into this car to make this happend.arnold you're are true and persistend that's why this car got to where it is today thank you for letting me be a part of this project. i hopefully we will make it go much faster.

 

1.45 ? On Nittos? I want a S2000. How's the rear holding up? I've heard they're notoriously fragile. Any specific launch technique to spare the rear?

Congrats to Nelson (DRT) for getting the car off the trialer and cracking these numbers. As for being persistent, you always need a team of builders, tuners and fabricators to stand beside you to make it happen in this case I can't say enough of DRT and the crew there in helping me take this car apart from the mess it was to where it is now. Also keep in mind we are far from done. So anticipate the changes and more records.

 

arnold what where the mph's at the 1/8th and 1/4 mile.

 

100.40 at the 1/8th and 124.52 at the 1/4, we opted not to shift to 5th. Next time.

Damn, i think its time to think about an S2k as my eventual weekend warrior. Things are hitting nuts 60' fts and running 10's.

 

This'll be a good back and forth battle to watch this year.

i must say, the driver Nelson was incredible, when we seen that 1.4 60ft all of our jaws dropped

 

Thats getting it done on drag radials, the scary part is that this is just the beginning!
