Default No sequential in Hot Rod?

I was looking in the NHRA rule book for Hot Rod and it states that "Sequential transmisson prohibited" So does this mean no X-Trac?

I just read the rule book, it doesnt say that. I got it off of the website. You are right, a XTRAC is a sequential.

If it retains an H-pattern it should be legal even if it is clutchless

Sequentials not be allowed in hot rod sounds like a good idea. If you were in my position this sounds like a really good idea! (At least privateers know what I mean

You will have 25K in an Extract by the time you are done.

The Extract would only be allowed if it was on NHRA's list of accepted aftermarket trannys. If it is indeed a sequential trans, it should not be on their list.
