air intake question
it wont mess up your car, just make sure you install it right with no leaks or open areas. also, reset your ecu by taking out your ecu fuse for 10 seconds and you're good.

You also have to consider how restrictive the stock air box is... i dont think he will lose hp but hes probably not going to gain it ethier

Well, you also have to look at how intakes work. We all know that the stock intake is restrictive. I really dont know how to explain it, but the tubing design is how some intakes make more hp than others. For example: the password jdm and a regular sri. Both the same concept, but the design of the "Whale *****" and its big chamber somehow nets you more hp. (I dont know how to explain why; so i wont make a idiot out of myself)
Also take the AEM V2 intake and a regular CAI. The V2 has that dual chamber design which does somthing to the air flow (like a venturi in a carbureator). V2>Most CAI becuase of that dual chamber design.
That is also why i think the OP MIGHT lose hp. It may make more hp than stock, it may not. I dont know.
We are pretty much debating over something that has been said many times. Any aftermarket intake on a stock honda wont produce massive gains. Once one starts modifying the internals, then a quality intake will stand for itself.
