main relay diffreneces in dx and all other mpfi car's
i am doing a swap on a 1991 crx dx. Putting a 1997 d16y8 with a chipped p28 in it.
i am very curious about the wiring of the main relay and why it has seperate feed for the fuel pump.
just wonder if anybody on this forum has run across anything? i have to run to a meeting tonight and will post up pics of a 1995 gsr diagram and a 1991 crx dx and a si. to compare the differences to see what the theory on this is?

also i have noticed that all the inputs from the distributor are not used! guess they are not needed to run the car? hopefully a ef wiring wizard will give me a shout and some assistance??
are you having a problem with your main relay? are you trying to use one from another car? Or are you just trying to figure out how/why it works? you can use the DX main relay when swapping to MPFI, if thats what your trying to figure out.
no issues just feedback from the way it is wired? the car is a dx and doing a thirple swap i guess that is what you call it?
I am wiring the car like a 1995 ex coupe since i am using the p28 computer i would love to talk to you in pm land and have you go over the diagram if you have time maybe you are seeing something i am not?
