Well guys, its exhaust time.

My friend who is the co-owner of his business is really pushing for the HyperMedallion. I've never heard it but from what I am hearing is it is a good exhaust. How's the sound ?

Now about the WS, I would love it but I don't think its straight through, and I plan on ITR cams and more upgrades and don't want to be robbed performance due to a restrictive exhaust ..

Help me out guys..

 

I have the Hyper exhaust, ITR cams and other bolt on's and run a 14.5. Seems to work pretty well with a GSR w/type R cams. Sure I think there are other better flowing exhaust out there but at the expense of being extremely loud. I've found this exhaust to be a perfect compromise between power and noise.

My friend has the Tanabe Hyper in her GSR. It has a very deep tone in the cabin and pretty quiet outside...it's hard to hear it even unless she hits the gas. The WS isn't straight thru...some baffles and maybe even chambers. Not sure how well the WS flows against straight-thru exhausts. The WS is quieter, but I like the way the Tanabe Hyper sounds better. I don't think you'll be very disappointed w/ either. If your friend is pushing the Tanabe, tell him to give you a REALLY good deal on it!

 

get the kakimoto exhaust...very close to stock sound...stainless steel...if you're all motor its great or if you have bolt on...

 

The WS flows HORRIBLY. I have dyno proof from my Apexi RS (same exact exhaust), I would stray away from it. I sold mine. I now have the Greddy SP on order .
