ITR tranny
i just bought a 94 gsr..it came wit an itr tranny..act clutch...act fly wheel..its alwayse giving me problems...(axles snapping...tranny bolts breaking off) i want to get rid of it..what should i go with..b16 tranny or gsr??

i'm no mechanic, but i would check the rest of the car first. it could be the tranny, but i doubt it. if u do want to get a new one, depends on what u want. type r and b16 have shorter gears and most have lsd. gsr is a good compromise, good acceleration and decent cruising rpms (some jdm trannys have lsd, i think the SirG). ls sux for acceleration but great for gas mileage. just depends on what ur looking for out of ur tranny. i personally run a type r with exedy clutch/flywheel and i love it. good luck.
