Default Installing New Rotors and Pads on the R

Ok I've installed brake pads on my old Civic before, but they were always Honda pads and they came with the grease/lube. On the R I'm going to be installing aftermarket pads that don't come with the grease. Is it necessary to apply the grease and if so where do I get it? Along with the new pads I'm also going to be installing new cross drilled/slotted rotors, mainly because my rears have deep grooves in them. Any tips or things I should look for before installing them? Thanks in advance.

Things to keep in mind:

1.) The rear caliper pistons thread in to caliper. Do not try to compress them into the caliper.
2.) You may have to undo and remove the e-brake from the rear caliper to get the caliper on and off the rotor. Even if you don't, it might still be easier to remove them.
3.) Clean (if dirty) and lube the caliper pins with a synthetic grease (ie: mobil 1) while you have the caliper off. It's a part of every 7.5k mile service.
4.) Clean/deburr the pad retainers of rust, burrs, and accumulated brake dust so that the pads can move back and forth freely.
5.) Remove the backing pads from the aftermarket pads and throw them away. In my experience, on Hawk pads, the backing pads like to unglue from the brake pad and cut a groove into the rotor hat.
