The damn rear motor mount.
I received some good information and tips on how to get to this one. I need more options/technique. I tried a search with no luck. I have installed the left and right mounts (Prothane kit, we're talking serious ******* vibration here) but now that I'm looking at the rear mount, I'm thinking, "how the hell?" So if anyone has any easy ways to get to it, please chime in. For those that offered suggestions already, thank you. I'm just looking for more opinions/suggestions.
Someone else also told me that once the rear mount is installed, the amount of vibration actually goes down. Anyone have experience with this being the case? Thanks again.

I thought maybe taking off the rear mount and dropping the trans/motor assy down a bit and pulling it forward may give you enough clearance to get the rear mount off far enough to slip the inserts on... Ddub and I discussed this when his trans was out for the ATS install... and we both felt that you MIGHT get enough room this way..
I forgot more about hondas then you will ever know....

once the car is in the air... 20 min. job.
You have to remove the subframe brace and get the bracket loose to move it around.
You do not have to remove the tranny or loosen any of the other mounts.

Holy **** on a shingle was that fawking rear mount hard. My car it took like 2 seconds cause we had the tranny out
, but jasons car was a bitch. We had to remove the lower sub frame tie bar, the evap can, and loosen the tranny side uper and lower motor mount. Then westle it for about 45 minutes. Maybe I'm just retarted but it was a bitch and a half.
As for once its in, Jasons steering wheel vibrates at idle, but mine does not. It is loud as nads in my car now, but I like that

Also I was not able to remove the rear brace completely on jasons car so I had to call the power of castle grey skull and focus all that power to the tips of my finger to wedge that damn mount in. Its totaly worth it though (on your own car, fawk helping a friend any more, make him do it

I left my rear out. How much of a difference does having it in make. My car vibrates now, how much more could that do in terms of noise and vibration? This car is my daily driver.
I hope you are putting the prothane rear mount for racing as for a street car I wouldn't. It causes the car to vibrate so badly that my windshield shakes when the car is idling. It does a great job in getting the power to the ground but damn the vibrations would be tough on a daily driver.
That answers my question. I read prior to install to leave out because of vibration. I think I will leave the way it is now. Car vibrates a little but is bearable. Better than stock as far as putting power to ground.
