Yeah, you get 900whp Supra street cars.

Not like a cops going to hear it and be like. "That has to have 600 hp and thats illegal"

Last I remembered we don't have a legal hp limit. It was something else.

Well, that depends, if its not streetable and you cant like casually drive it, they would probably pull you over for exhibition of speed/acceleration :/

i think the only way you would ever get a ticket is if you live in a state like California that has retarded laws about emissions and **** like that. They might pull you over and check if things are CARB certified or w/e it is......i know that if you move up to ND and keep me company, that there aren't any emissions laws or anything!!

Where I live if you got a cat in place and no check engine light on your good to go, I failed at the DMV before for being .75" too low when measured by the headlights.

Now that is crap. I know we have a minimum headlight height required by law, but I thought it was just for the car to be sold here to begin with, not that you had to keep the car above it at all times...

There's no specific law against how much "street horsepower" you have, but there's no way that your car is street legal. Also with that much horsepower (I'm guessing around about 18 psi on whatever turbo), I doubt that it is streetable unless you lower the boost and tune it.

Yes, in Cali we do have some crappy smog laws, but it's the price we pay to live here.

What do you mean his car isn't street legal? Maybe not in Cali, but he lives in Mn, so it depends on the laws in his state. Here in FL, there is a club CFT in Orlando that has many members with 1000 plus horsepower, all street legal. No emissions testing here.

As long as you can get the car rolling without barking the tires, have a cat installed, and don't break noise ordinances, all is well.

You're right that it depends on what state he lives in. However he said it's a GS-R/built/turboed, so in order to run at 532 whp or crank hp, he'd most likely have to use at least 98-100 octane just to drive it and there would be other driveability issues. If I were him and he planned to daily drive it, I'd detune it for supreme unleaded (whatever octane his state offers) at a lower boost.
