Default CHEETAH - Introduction, project so far ... (graphic intensive)

Here is what the long awaited CHEETAH looks like so far, obviously not sone but almost there body wise, here is the paint scheme and countless hours of work by Autobody by Duie in Bordentown NJ ... plus all the countless hours put in by Jeff Taylor AKA Lip !!!

Next step is rollcage by DRT, Z10 traction control suspension, etc and tons more things to get done ... motorwise there is HyTech stuff coming that everyone will love, Toda Racing stuff that you wont believe and Endyn stuff that you'll also really like.

will keep you posted as more things get done ... Greg

Is that Lip's tow dolly? It's a dead ringer for it.

Paint scheme reminds me of mystery flavor now and laters. You guys must be shooting for the 10's with all the goodies you've mentioned. Good luck with everything!

those photos don't do the paint justice. that band between the purple and slime is black with purple pearl. in the sun this car looks hot and ready to rumble.

warren....good call on the tow dolly.

the lexan pieces are cut out already...just gotta put them in. I got those doors to close a solid as a steel door. the piece behind the front wheels is painted...just going to install later along with the Si side skirts

the purple wheels were because it was easier to leave them in place unmasked since they are just rollers.

Thanks greg....damn i put alot of hours in this car....its SOOOO gonna be worth it.

Now get your tooshie over my house asap and lets finish my engine!!!!! I'll have the head back in a day or so.

take lots of photo's mo cha cho

we're really trying hard to make the april 26/27 IDRC event in maple grove PA, so much work to do, and so little time its really challenging. I have more or less everything jsut need to prep with everyhting except full drivetrain which will hopefully be ready in a couple of weeks.

Lip, yeah gonna see if I can comeby so we can wrap up your car when I return dolly.

Everyone one else, seems like everyone likes the paint scheme, it stands out, the paint colors are just insane, and would you believe this car was sprayed twice before Keith at Duie decided this the colors he wants ?
so hopefully you guys come out to the races and say hello !!!

I'll keep everyone posted as more things get done. Thanks for all the support.

you know i still get yelled at for picking those "other" colors? actually...it looked bad *** from one view...but anywhere else it looked like crap. the CRX is a very boxy car to paint with a scheme. my conquest tsi blue candy apple and bright yellow with candy blue pearl looked like a train wreck.

greg let me know if you need any other parts etc from lawrence engineering. If i were you i wouldn't put those lexan pieces in if you can't get the alluminum dash on properly. i cut that dash out the best i could. it can only be installed from the outside in...so don't go putting any windshields on quite yet!!! Man...i can't wait til this rex is done. look out allmotor world
