I need help!!! my msd set fried my dizzy and don't know why can any one help me!!!!

What upgrades do you have that you need an msd ignition setup for? Stock is supposedly good till 300 horse. That is what I have read.

well all I have is a catco cat and dc sport exshaust system new dizzy and a aem cold air intake.

You don't need that ignition setup anymore then. I recommend you to take it off cause you don't need it.

thats the usual case with msd set up w/hondas
ends up making ground and frying
if you need a 90-91 let me know....

Yeah bro, take that ignition systeam off you don't need it. Ignition upgrades are used for cars that are turbo or super charged. If you really what to upgrade your spark, get some denso iridium spark plugs IK22

I just bought the new dizzy and waiting on a bigger altanator, someone said that could help and MSD makes a dizzy for the b16a vtec I was wondering if I could use the MSD dizzy (probably not but by any chance let me know)

Stock is good enough..Just last week I saw a dynograph of a car that made over 700whp with the stock ignition,,Msd's are not worth it and they break all the damn time,,But if you are determined to get a box look into mallory instead of msd...

Dont put any MSD on your honda. I bought my car with it on adn took it off right away. It was giving me problems and ******* things up. Like the above have already said Honda's stock ignition is good for like 300-450hp.

i read that post in the FI forum. i'd rather stick with my oem setup.

I don't know why, but sometimes msd stuff will give out a strong electrical current, strong enough to fry your electrical system. Check all the stuff in your dizzy, like the ignitor, rotor and whatnot.
