Hey good people, I just called the Honda stealership and ask them how much for a timing belt pakage. I was quoted $140 for just the water pump! Dang! I'm sure there must be a better way to go then this. They offered to do the work for $725.00!!!
If someone would please point me in the right direction, as to where I can order a timing belt pakage for a 1995 DB8?
Peace,
TQ

Write Honda-tech and your username in the comments on the order summary page. Len will take care of the rest.
Those are the best prices on Acura parts I've been able to get ahold of. Almost as good as employee pricing. For parts that have long part numbers that can cross-over to Honda parts, use: http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com

I ordered a timing belt, water pump, and tensioner pulley for right at $200 from inlinefour.com. I think it was a few bucks cheaper than the online Honda parts sites.
Ebay, For less than a hundred bucks, you get water pump, belt and tensioner. They are the same parts as the one Honda sell. Honda buy from them and put Honda labels on there.

hahah so these are parts that don't say Genuine Honda on them? What exactly do they say on them? If they didn't say Genuine Honda Made in Japan I wouldn't trust it

You can PM Len here on h-t since he works at honda. All H-T members get a small discount. I'd also recommend looking at prostreetonline, one of the H-T sponsors. I know they sell timing belt kits and other oem stuff.

Thanx for all the replies folks.
Just one more thing, how much can I expect to pay for a complete timing belt pakage?
Also for the water pump and all that goes with it. Gaskets, washers and anti-freeze...
Peace,
TQ
