Default What type of lap top to tune?

Hey guys what's up? Let me start by saying sorry if this is in the wrong section.

I have a 91 Civic SI. I swapped a 97 D16Y8 motor with JE 10.5:1 c/r pistons in. I am converting to OBD1 right now. I bought a Chipped P28 ECU from SVO boy that is programmed with crome and has the USB datalogging cable installed.

What kind of laptop do I need to get to be able to run the datalogging program and a maybe the rom burner? I have found several cheap lap tops on eBay, but don't want to buy one and it not be able to do the task.

I need it ASAP as the higher compression motor is untuned, and I am also going turbo (low boost). So I need something to get this thing tuned and ready to go (it's my daily driver also).

Thanks

i am actually using a 200 mhz pentium laptop with 128 megs of ram and a 4 gig hard drive to datalog for my setup. it is a little laggy displaying the realtime analog guages with ecu control, but it works well with the digital guages, and datalogging doesnt miss a beat. i would say try craigslist in your area. you should be able to find a suitable one for under $150. if its main function in life will be to datalog, the computer doesnt need to be very fast. if you dont display the guages and just have the datalog chart going, you can probably even use a slower computer. but guages are nice. i am using a micron transport trek 1, but the micron transport trek 2's go on ebay for like $100 routinely, and they are about 2x as fast as what i am using.
