Well, the pic of "his" doesnt work.
But just to let you know, not all mugen twinloops look the same.
Check out mine:

My tip is different than yours. Maybe there are different generations, but I dont know.

definetly different gen's of twin loops. both are mugen without a doubt. my buddy had the twin loop pictured at the top on his 99-00 si. i would've been all over it, but he traded the car in for an xterra with it on

yours is the usdm tip the other one is the jdm version. usdm meaning most in the states will have that version as opposed to the other.
i personally think the usdm tip was just left over tips from the mugen sport muffler, and mugen said why throw these away, we'll use them and then make another tip later on...in the process saving them money.

i personally prefer the look of the usdm tip. his has the tip like slopoke's. i'll have to climb under the car and take a look at the badge. maybe let the guy off the hook, i just dont like being wrong. haha

i dont think theres such thing as usdm verion tips... i bought my mugen twin loop from http://rrr-game.comwhich is the same owner of UP GARAGE in japan for $466 and they said my twin loop came off an EK9... its exactly the same as the one on the light grey EG.. i think its just different generations...

There are 2 gens of JDM the Mugen Twin Loop "96 Spec" and "98 Spec". The 98 Spec has a small extra resinator and says "98 Spec" on the b-pipe. I might post pics later if I get bored at work
