car is giving problems with starting up...need advice
i just finished replacing my old battery in my car, and the new one i got is acting up in the same way. i had the battery checked out at a local auto parts store, and it's still good and fresh.
what has been happening is that when i try to turn on the car, all the power seems to be drained. this happening when i turn the key all the way right to start up the motor. after a few seconds, the power comes back. the radio, etc all works, but when i try to turn on the key, all the power goes away. also, when i try to jump start the car, nothing happens, same deal.
i can push start the car, and it runs fine, no problems. my guess is that the starter is fukced up. any ideas?
