Stock GSR?????
Someone told me that intake header and exhaust would give me 205 + horsepower on a stock GSR motor? Is this true? Oh yeah with no catalytic converter too.
Thanks in advance!
Thanks in advance!
intake, header, exhaust + ebay 20hp mod chip = 205 rwhp
maybe window tint for another 10+ ponies with a good % tune....
no. a b18c1 w/ stock internals and those mild bolt-on's wont touch 200 fwhp. EVERY car is different but you can expect about 150-160 fwhp with I/E/H

well 250 maybe if you double clutched on the dyno.

okay now you guys thought you knew everything and trying to be cool. Now your trying to find out if my car really does have 205. The more you open up the ports the better air flow you can get. The bigger the opening the more horsepower potenial. All you people got to hondatuningmagazine.com and look at some of the b18c1 motors. You guys are just giving be dyno results on gsr's I want dyno charts on b18c1 motors with full igntion system cold air intake and header and full cat-back and hi flow converter.

Look at my FS sig. I want to sell it cause I am tired of the lack of power. GSR motors really can't pull out more than 200 hp to the wheels with out a lot of motor work and tuning.
If you want to get those kind of numbers you'll need
CTR pistons
Edelbrock IM or any other single plenum aftermarket
370 cc injectors
port and polish head
upgraded valve train
HONDATA
CAMS (AGRESSIVE)

I think one of the biggest issues here, is that laymen talk in "horsepower", similar to how vehicle manufacturers do, which is at the crank, and essentially useless to most people who build and tune cars. A tuner measures power at the tire, not the crank.
A stock gsr can put down 135 - 145 at the tire on a dyno. To get to 205, we're talking over a 33% increase, and thats not goign to happen with mild bolt-ons.

This was in refernce to integradude98 that thought he had 205 horse to the tires. These posts are just jokes.
